Straight bar
The two sizes that cover flatwork, pools, and most residential reinforcement. Our pultrusion line handles 4–32 mm — for other diameters, contact us.

* Guaranteed design values (tensile strength, modulus, bond) are size-specific and published on the technical datasheet supplied with every quote — typical GFRP tensile runs ~145 ksi for small bars, more than double Grade 60 steel. Bundle counts and pallet quantities are confirmed at quote.
Bent shapes
GFRP cannot be field-bent — bends are formed during manufacturing, before the resin cures. You order bent shapes together with straight bar, and they arrive ready to tie. One material for the whole cage: no steel-GFRP hybrid workarounds.

Standards & quality
The material specification for solid round GFRP bars for concrete reinforcement — dimensions, guaranteed tensile properties, moisture absorption, and alkaline resistance. Pultrax bar is manufactured to this specification.
The building code for structural concrete reinforced with GFRP, used alongside ACI 318. Your engineer designs Pultrax bar with it the same way they design steel with ACI 318.
Our in-house quality program tests production per ASTM D7205 (tensile), D2584 (fiber content), D7617 (transverse shear), and D7913 (bond to concrete), with results tied to lot numbers.
