Is GFRP approved by US building codes?

Yes. ACI 440.11-22 is a full building code for GFRP-reinforced concrete, referenced alongside ACI 318, and the material specification is ASTM D7957. Departments of transportation across the country — Florida, Minnesota, Ohio, North Carolina — already build bridges with it. Your engineer or building department can design and approve with it directly.

How does the price compare to steel?

Competitive, bar for bar — and ignore per-ton comparisons, because a ton of GFRP contains 3.4× more bars than a ton of steel. Installed, GFRP often costs less: lighter bars, smaller crews, zip ties, grinder cuts. And over the life of the concrete it costs far less, because it never spalls or rots — no rust repairs, no early replacement. Exact pricing is confirmed at quote.

Can my crew work with it using normal tools?

Yes — easier than steel. It cuts with an angle grinder or recip saw, ties with zip ties instead of wire, and a laborer carries a whole bundle. No torch, no rebar cutter, no iron workers.

Can GFRP be bent on site?

No — tight bends and stirrups are factory-made shapes you order with your straight bar. Smaller diameters like #3 do flex elastically to gentle curves, which is exactly what pool shells need.

Do you deliver? What's your service area?

We serve a roughly 750-mile freight radius from Yuma: Arizona, Southern California, Southern Nevada, New Mexico, Utah, and El Paso. At launch you can also will-call at the Yuma plant. Freight is quoted with your order — and because GFRP is 70% lighter than steel, it's usually a smaller line than you're used to.

Can I get bent shapes and stirrups?
